• Introduced an engineering capability matrix so that engineers had the right skillsets to deliver on the mobile roadmap.
• Hired and grew 3 product teams; streamlined the hiring process and learned how to manage vendors for contracting.
• Established quality and delivery practices for engineers based on Accelerate principles and DORA metrics.
• Represented engineering on strategy roll-out, driving the design and deployment of a prioritisation framework across 6 teams.

As one of the more experienced engineers, I brought technical leadership and customer-focus to a newly established mobile team.

• Mentored mobile engineers through the migration of a large codebase from Objective C to Swift 2.
• Created a containerised tool for path-to-production compliance that was adopted across the organisation.
• Led a Python community of practice to spread awareness and encourage adoption of Python at Xero

• Built an augmented reality app using geo-spatial data to overlay overhead and underground cabling specs for field crew
• Developed an OH&S app using iBeacon (iOS) technology, which was recognised for championing a core cultural value of the organisation.

Liberty is a low-doc lender that pioneered mobile apps for brokers to evaluate and submit mortgage applications.

• Foundationary member of iOS development at Liberty, which resulted in Liberty's nomination for Best Innovator at Australian Lending Awards in 2013.
• Set up continuous integration for iOS development.
